I love this wallpaper. It's a fully functional html page! That means that you can preform web searches right on your desktop!

About 5 months ago I discovered that you can set a web page as your desktop. The first thing I thought of was using the Google homepage. I did.

Several months later, I got bored of the white background so I took a Vista wallpaper and made it the background.

Some info:
4 images in total
2MB of images and html overall
All images are png
All image editing done in Paint.NET
Looks like the GM commercial where they tell you to "Google Pontiac" :P

EDIT: Bah! I just noticed that this is the wallpaper that I changed a month ago because of a few errors in the background images!

You can make a webpage as your desktop? Please tell how :D

On your desktop:

Right-Click > Properties > Desktop [tab] > Browse

Then just make sure that either "Background Files" or "HTML Documents" are selected as the file type. The HTML uses IE's programming. But don't open the HTML document in FF (or IE for that matter) because it won't look the same as your desktop.

why are there theese black dots in the lower left quarter? they look like your desktop contrast and brightness does not fit or did u put them there consciously?
they look like a rubber or something like that...
u know what i mean?

Yeah. That was an earlier mistake. I fixed it about 10 minutes after the screenshot but was too lazy to take the screenshot again :P
